   If I goto Appearance > Widgets and add the "Google Custom Search" Widget to my sidebar it does not appear on the page. Am I supposed to add extra code to get it working?

   Strangely enough the basic Search Widget appears to work fine.

   Please note I am refering to the Google Custom Search widget that comes with wordpress 3.0.1, not any plugin.

   Help would be appreciated.
