[resolved] Google Custom Search Query String (3 posts)

    Hi,
I've set up google custom search on my website on an external page, and changed the "name" value to "q", the query term that google uses, in my "searchform.php" file. I then set up a custom page template and connected the search form to point to that page instead. However, now when I visit my custom search page, the title of the page that says "Search Results For: <term>" is now not calling the search term.

I've tried a whole bunch of things to get this to work, including trying to modify "get_search_query", and now I'm stumped. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this working?

    Thanks,

    Noel

I was actually able to resolve this problem, and never closed this thread. I'll post the solution on the thread posted by Herbie Hysteria above. Thanks! :D
