    Hi

    I installed Google+ Comments for WordPress plugin and I would like to show a comment box under each of my posts on the main index page.
    The Google+ comment box is currently only showing on the individual post page, eg. http://whoacool.com/tl-wpa281kit/

    I found a thread where someone described the process of adding the comment box on the main index page.

    1.Open your theme’s index.php file.
    (e.g., /wp-content/themes/whatever/index.php)

    2.Find this line:
    < ?php endwhile; ?>

    3.Add these lines immediately above said line:
    < ?php $withcomments = 1; ?>
    <?php comments_template(); ?>

    It works, but it shows the default wordpress template comment box (see http://whoacool.com but I would like it to show the Google+ Comments template instead of the default wordpress comments template.

    I think I need to modify this line <?php comments_template(); ?>, but what do I need to enter there?

    How can I do this? I am a complete newbie with a bonking headache now ;-)

    Thanks so much for your help.

    Cheers

    Stef

    Não é legal colocar o sistema de comentários dessa forma. Vai tornar seu site a receber muito mais spam que comentários. Eu recebo em média de 5 a 8 mil spam. Que são parados pelo Akismet. E, ainda que eu não permito comentários sem registro, imagine se permitisse!

    Sorry for my bad english, but, I advise you to use the comments just inside the posts. This earns him more visits over time. Well, imagine a post with many comments being researched. It'll be great too! And in the post, is perfect! : D

    this can be done with either a custom theme that uses the plugins comments-container.php as an include ... not ideal or the way I would personally do it. Or it can be done via shortcodes that are coming with the next update.
