Google Calendar Options

Unless I’m missing something, there just aren’t any easy to use and easy to customize Google Calendar options for WordPress.
I’ve tried Stout Google Calendar, but that just basically allows you to insert the iframe code with some minor color mods.
I’ve tried amr-ical-events-list, but it is so complicated.
Why isn’t there something like Joomla’s GCalendar? It is easy to customize and looks great?
