   The Google Calendar API has been released. Who has allready started development on a WordPress plugin? To many times I have been coding a plugin to find someone who beat me to it.

   There is the Google Calendar Widget listed in Plugins/WordPress_Widgets.

   but what about people that don't use widgets? is there a generic plugin for this yet?

   Switch to using widgets. That'd be my suggestion.

   What would you want a non-widget plugin to do? I could adapt the Google Calendar widget to be capable for use by non-widget using people, but I don't much see the point. If you're going to put it in the sidebar, switching to widgets just makes more sense.
