Google Analytics Tracking Queries (3 posts)

    Hi there folks.

I've had a quick look around the WordPress forums but was unable to find any definitive answers to my queries.

The first being, is it possible to track search terms that have been entered via the WordPress search results text entry box?

And my second and third queries are plug-in specific - while I appreciate this is a little beyond the more general WordPress queries, specifically they are related to SexyBookmarks and Configurable Tag Cloud.

In both cases are they are also trackable with respect to the bookmarks followed through SexyBookmarks and also through the tags as followed via the Configurable Tag Cloud?

Apologies if the above seem obvious, but I'm struggling to find the relevant answers!

Many thanks and kind regards, Mark.

For search, use a search plugin that offers logging. For those two plugins, check the with the developer; if they don't offer logging, use web stats - like Google Analyrics - to capture what URLs you can. GA will also work for some search quieries.

    Hi there.

Many thanks for the response - I've managed to track down a search term plug-in that may help in my quest, this being "Search Meter".

As for SexyBookmarks - I'm kind of struggling on this one - but shall endeavour to continue to search for an answer!!

    Thanks again, Mark.
