   I have read the forums, the help pages, and watched videos about adding the code to my footer.php. page. I added the code right before the last bit of code... /body> </html>
   I have waited 12 hours and still having nothing showing up in Google Ananlytics.
   What am I doing wrong? any suggestions? If I click on the Real time in Analytics it once and awhile shows 1 visitor but then disappears and I cant seem to find it.

   Any help is appreciated.

   Just use

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/

   It gives you more control and you don't need to edit code.
