    Hello,

    I'm having an issue with getting google analytics working on my website http://healthtalkpodcast.com.

    I've inserted this code above the header:
    <script type="text/javascript">

    var _gaq = _gaq || [];
    _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-41763144-1']);
    _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

    (function() {
    var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;
    ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
    var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
    })();

    </script>

    And Google Analytics still says "Tracking Not Installed."

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    The script looks OK at a glance...make sure this is between the <head> and </head> tags in header.php and if using a caching plugin to flush cache.

    @Seacoast Web Design - The script is definitely good.

    I'm not seeing and <head> in the header.php. Do I add one and put the script it in between?

    How do flush the cache?

    Thanks.

    My theme has a spot for code before the header so I had put the code in there and it worked on my other website.

    Is this the same code from that site or does it have the unique UA # ?

    It ended up finally kicking in overnight... just needed time.

    Thanks for your help!
