• I need to add Google Analytics code snippets to a Thank You page to track conversions. If I replace Contact Form 7 with my own code then it’s a snap, but I’d rather use Contact form 7 since it is such a great and easy to use tool.

The obvious problem is that Contact Form 7 uses Ajax so there is no separate Thank You page.

    Is this possible?

I have searched the forum answers and have not found this answer. If it is possible then my suggestion would be to add it to the FAQ page because it is a marketing capability that serious marketers will always need.

    Thanks for the help…

    Hi Takayuki

I’ve got the submission tracking working as per your post but as far as I understand this is event tracking.

The problem with event tracking is that since it cannot be converted into a goal – as a visit to a “thank you” page can, it cannot then be imported into AdWords as a conversion.

This is where we have an issue, because event tracking is all well and good but cannot be integrated.

However, Rocky – if you look at the post Redirecting to another URL in the documentation, this is covered well there – and is simple to set up as far as I can tell (I am yet to do this as I am waiting for my client to approve the change)

    Cheers…

    Hey Takayuki,
Your redirecting note at the bottom was just what I was looking for.
Thank you, and all the best out there…

    RockyMtnHi
