hi
can anybody help me out here?
I installed the google analytics code in appearance> editor > footer
but this report i receivetoday on the site?
What to do next?

You need to place the code in "eader:, not footer.

Go to Appearance > Editor and then look for "header" or "header.php"
You should paste the Google Analytics code right before </head>

You may find that it really is easier to just use a Google Analytics plugin...

This one has worked well for me in the past.

I filled in the UA id
and also yes to the Asynchronous Tracking:
So no code is needed anymore i guess :)
Why making it difficult if there is a simple solution.

You would have had to have pasted the code directly before </head>
Great idea to use a plugin though. Makes life easier!
