Google Analytics and WordPress Question (4 posts)

Ok, this might be a lame question but I thought I would ask anyway.

The question is that if I place the Google Analytics code in the footer of my WordPress blog ( like everyone else does ), will it track the visits to all the pages of my site including the static HTML pages which I have got in the public_html folder and not directly in the WordPress directory ? Or will it only track the posts and pages which are integrated within WordPress ?

    What do you say ?

It tracks where the code is. Since you didnt mention having placed the code in the static html files, no it wont track those visits.

Could the same code be used in the static HTML files too ? I don;t want to mess with separate Analytics profiles.
