I've installed Google Analyticator - I believe properly :-) - but Google Analytics is still giving me that little yellow triangle with the exclamation point that indicates "Tracking Unknown or Not Verified."

I've set it up as follows:
    It's enabled
    I've correctly entered my UID
    I've disabled WP admin logging
Chosen "Remove" for Admin tracking disable method
Disabled footer tracking code (after trying it enabled)
    Enabled outbound link tracking
    Specified "http"

I've looked at the source code for my page and "Google Analytics" is there.

I've checked the theme header and footer for the code that Spiral says is sometimes missing.

The plug-ins I have activated are:
Count per day (I did try Google Analytics with this disabled)
    Askimet
    All in One SEO Pack
    Easy Contact
    Magpie RSS Simplified

Google recognizes my UID, so the code is clearly contacting Google, but I can't get rid of that warning symbol.

I'm out of ideas and would appreciate hearing yours.

I'll answer myself in case someone else wants to know: Google Analytics doesn't verify your code in real time like other Google products do. Wait until you receive the email from them, THEN check the validity of your code.
