    Hello everyone,

I am pretty new to WordPress (I am not sure if I even specified the correct version). Basically, I paid ~$100 for a fully customizable WordPress blog and am wondering if I can install Google Adsense onto it?

Everything I find online is conflicting because the WP Policy says Ads are not allowed on free blogs. However, I paid for a blog and I have found numerous sites saying that you can install Plug-ins to run Google Adsense

    Thanks!

    whom did you pay?
you might want ot contact them directly with your question.

from the context of your question, it seems that your site is with WordPress.com -

    either try http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
    or ask at http://en.forums.wordpress.com/

this forum here deals with WordPress.org - which is a free CMS software; http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Will do! I didn't buy it from somebody, do it is fully legit. It was the WordPress Value Bundle (from this page) that I bought when I paid right for right off the bat. My intention was to create a website for reviews, news, etc. Once I gathered writers/gained a bit of momentum for my site, I was planning to install ads on my page.

Are you knowledgable enough to give me advice for what I should do next? If that is even possible/what is the best alternative? I will also contact them per your suggestion

the 'WordPress Value Bundle' is definitively by WordPress.com - and you will have to live with the TOS by WordPress.com if your site is with them.

alternative is to use WordPress.org in a selfhosted site - http://codex.wordpress.org/Getting_Started_with_WordPress

in this forum, you will only get advice concerning WordPress.org

(I would like to apologize for the grammar in my last post, I was only half paying attention and am embarrassed by how poorly I wrote that lol)

I appreciate your help. I was unaware that there was a difference between the .com and .org. Hopefully someone will be able to help me out.

    Thanks again
