Good plugin but has serious speed issues

    Since I never got a response, I’ve now uninstalled Disqus and moved all 30+ sites to Livefyre.

    Possibly the best decision I’ve made – anyone else experiencing the slow load times with Disqus, I advise you to do the same, you won’t regret it.

    Hi Tom,

    What issues were you having? The Disqus iframe taking a while to load? Whats your site?

    Hi,

    It’s not any one site, it was several sites which it was installed on – it’s been removed from those sites now because after several months and lots of checking using PingdomTools, it became clear that Disqus was delaying site load time considerably.

    On sites with one added, even the Facebook ‘like’ buttons were being loaded before Disqus, and that’s saying something!
