   Hi, newbie question.

   I am about to move my wordpress.com blog over to my domain hosted with godaddy.

   What server should I get - Windows or Linux?

   I honestly do not know the difference between the two so if you have newbie advice that would be great.

   You'll want Linux for smooth sailing.
