I have an .info domain on godaddy and i chose thei're free hosting.
I tried to install wp from panel but it said it prompt me into buying upgrade and there was a message saying "either you buy upgrade or install it manually"
    I went for the manual.
    I run ubuntu.
    So,i download wp file.
    Edit the wp-config-example.php
Changing the dbusername, username, pass and leaving "localhost" the same.
I saved the wp-config.php there, upload it (in a folder called 'blog') along with all files using filezilla and ran http://www.xxxxx.info/blog/wp-admin/install.php
*note that am very sure and i have checked many times the folders, they are ALL corrent placed ,read wp guids and saw yt videos and have previosu experience on host/upload/html/php stuff.

So i ran the install and there was an error:

"The page you tried to access does not exist on this server. This page may not exist due to the following reasons:
You are the owner of this web site and you have not uploaded (or incorrectly uploaded) your web site. For information on uploading your web site using FTP client software or web design software, click here for FTP Upload Information.
The URL that you have entered in your browser is incorrect. Please re-enter the URL and try again.
The Link that you clicked on incorrectly points to this page. Please contact the owner of this web site to inform them of this situation."

I did the same thing using the .rar (windows download) and .gz (linux download) from wp downloads, both resulted in the same thing.
Checked the Php ,Mysql requiremnts, they are ok too.
Am suspecting it has to do with localhost name,i tried the server ip,it didn't wokred am not sure about that.
Any suggestions on localhost or anything else i might missed?
