I was curious if has anyone gotten a contact form to work on a GoDaddy hosting. I've tried cforms II but i think i have to edit the Global Settings> SMTP settings. I'm not really sure and was curious if anyone else got them to work.

The problem i get is that it keeps hanging up and i've tried searching for alternatives like, "WP-Contact" Form and "Contact Form 7" and still have no luck.

I really think it's on godaddy's end but i can be wrong. please help a struggling citizen

I'm on godaddy and use cforms II and everything works fine right out of the box.

    Weird.

Did you use the install feature from their applications? Or did you manually upload all your files and create your own database?

You didn't have to mess with the SMTP at all?

I installed the files over FTP, activated the plugin and did what it asked me to do.

I didn't have to fiddle with SMTP at all, just left it as is.

I'm having the same issue. Did you ever get your contact form to work on GoDaddy?

Ah never mind. It works fine, I just had some code in my .htaccess file which prevented programs from using AJAX and I was using cforms II which uses AJAX.

I have a GoDaddy server and get Contact Form 7 as well as CformsII to work right out of the box without any problems. I have a premium shared hosting account.

Hi, I know it's been over 3 months since you guys inquired about this issue. I had problems setting up a contact form with WordPress on GoDaddy's Windows hosting, but I was able to solve it. I posted the solution on my blog.
