I am using a plugin (adserve) that is only usable by the admin. I would like to allow other authors of my blog to be able to use the plugin. I am having a hard time finding documentation on how roles and capabilities are written into plugins. I've looked at the code and I cannot see where or even if permissions are being designated.
If anyone could advise me or point me in the right direction I would be greatly appreciative.

Documentation hereThe easy fix: in the plugin file ad.php line 20 change (8) to whatever user level you want.
