    How can i make it so when you click on the comments link that the comments window opens at about 500 px without the the menu, but still leave in the login and registration links?
    normaly in dreamweaver i can click on a link, and add a on click behavior how would this be implemented into the php/or wp-layout.css.

    A search will give you plenty of answers regarding the first two questions:
    <?php // comments_popup_script(); // off by default ?>
    uncomment this in your index file and make it (500, 500)
    as for the login and registration links, you will have to add that to wp-comments-popup

    That line should already be in your index file in the header section.

    You should add the link to your blog in preferences. It wan't easy to find.

    I am not sure what you mean, it doesn't open with the menu.

    It's probably that your browser has the image cached.
    Open the popup,, click in it once, then press CTRL and F5 together. That forces a hard refresh.

    heh-heh, because the image is set in the css under #header. You need to use a different id for the comment popup header (or not set the image in the css)

    this is funny if i change this line in index,php
    <?php comments_popup_script(500,500); // off by default ?>

    ok i just dont understand im so close only problem is that my header image is still overlaping the header txt

    OK, I will write more slowly ;-)
    This line is in the header of index.php all by its lonesome and just like this:
    <?php comments_popup_script(500,500); // off by default ?>
    Now, the css is loaded into the popup, however, there is no rap or content div so it may not appear to you as if it is (but you can be assured it is because the header logo shows up which is defined in the css).
    So, if you are with me still...

    Open up your css in an editor. wp-comments-popup.php has:
    <body id="commentspopup">
    This means you can style the header differently from your regular header by using smething like:
    #commentspopup #header {
    border-bottom: 1px solid #EEEDDC;
    padding-bottom: 10px;
    height:auto;
    }
    Try that and then you will have an idea how you can begin to style the other aspects of the page, like maybe:
    #commentspopup a {color:#fff;text-decoration:underline}
    Hope this is clear enough and helps.

    instead of this
    <h1 id="header"><?php comments_number('No Comments on ','1 Comment on ','% Comments on '); ?>"<?php single_post_title() ?>" </h1>

    Nice site beel ive got a friend in iraq and i hate bush.
    Ok now i need help with giving the same popup behavior to the post title for example if you got to http://www.djcityrich.com/wordpress
    i want it that when you click on the post name like (natasha jen)
    it opens the same window comments does .

    Don't know why you would want to do that and I wouldn't recommend it, but you could try and put:
    onclick="wpopen(this.href); return false"
    in the title link. The title link does, however, link to the index file so it will probably open in the popup with all the fixin's. To get rid of the menu, etc., would take a bit of work by setting a conditional for single post page.

    how about this i think this would be way cool.
    if i remove the menu totaly from the index page create a php file that holds the menu, So heres an example say you got to my domaine, instead of just the index window opening two windows open the index and a window with the menu. is this possible
