   On three seperate postings I received three long comments that appear to be pure gibberish. Likewise sender's name and email address. One such reads as follows:
   VygFSN tdeqlvdmtuuf, [url=http://nrqxehthufyk.com/]nrqxehthufyk[/url], [link=http://ajkqnflgmalz.com/]ajkqnflgmalz[/link], http://hjarjytazgde.com/
   Any way to avoid future attacks?
   Motivation of sender?

   I get those too and don't know what they're for. I assume you're moderating comments? Dashboard > Settings > General > Membership should be unchecked.

   Do you have the akismet plugin enabled?

   That should stop the huge majority of this kind of spam.

   yes get a couple of trackback spam plugins
