Oh, my…
Images between 250 and over 1,000KB on the main page – that’s not what I’d call “user-friendly”!
Reduce the file size(s) before you upload the pictures. That will be a nice manual work 🙂

Alright I cut the sizes into half or third by reducing the image resolution and changing them to .gifs
What else?
I use Iimage Browser. http://www.fredfred.net/skriker/index.php/iimage-browser
It allows you to do a “thumbnail” image (to go on your front page) while uploading the original. Take a lot of hassle out of the manual work.

Thanks SavoryMedia!
So is there anything else I can do to make my blog better/ more user friendly?
Well, love the header, otherwise it’s a generic kubrick version. The graphics other than the header still load like molasses running uphill in January on Alaska’s North Slope, and gif is not the best compression algorithm…. try jpg, get a decent graphics program. If you can’t afford to buy PSP, download the GIMP.

Lol. I used jpeg right before. I use GIMP right now, and to tell you the truth I prefer Photoshop over anything. And what do you mean by “generic kubrick version?” How do I fix that?

Alright now that the images have been fixed, whats next?
Also whats wrong with a default Kubrick?
And lastly, are there any plugins anyone can recommend?
If you’re touting a design group/site, it seems to me the last thing you want is to use a thinly disguised vanilla/no character theme like the default.

So what can I do to fix that?
Develop your own vision, and plug wordpress into it.

What do you mean by “vision”?
