Even though my Albums are organized to show 3 to 5 galleries each, tagging any album results in display of all of my galleries (about 2 dozen).
I have tried tagging in both the following formats:
[Album=id,mode=mode] and
[Album id=id mode=mode]

I have now tried the new tags listed in the current faq on the plugin page at wordpress.org. They look like this:
[album id=x template=x]
diffendaffer, did that latest quick tag syntax work for you?
Additionally, clicking on any of the galleries in the album view only brings me back to the same album page.
nothing has worked so far. Tried clearing my local cache, wp super cache is off...
I have had other problems that I think are related to permissions. e.g. inability to upload with either the flash or browser, or create thumbnails. That's a whole other problem. I need to address permissions in some universal fashion for my gallery folder and subfolders.
Boy, that's odd. I'm not aware of the "mode=mode" options. What do they do?
I just did a search and all of the instances on my blog where I insert an album, they are in the form of:
[album=x,extend]
And these work as advertised. Does the uppercase "A" that you are using matter?
"mode" is not support by Nextgen.
The shortcode should be [album id=123 template=extend] or [album=123,extend]
