getting wordpress to be index.html (3 posts)

    Hi everyone

I have just completed a long process of taking wordpress and embedding it into my existing page structure (see http://sales-training-consultants.co.uk/wordpress/ ). But I am not too sure how to get it to be my main page so that when someone types in http://sales-training-consultants.co.uk they get the wordpress page rather than index.html. I have set permanent links up and wordpress is all in /wordpress below the root directory. Secondly, I am keen to update the metatags on the individual posts, but where does wordpress hold the actual pages or data?
    Any help gratefully received!

    or

    wordpress works on index.php
you will need to rename or delete the index.html

data is stored solely in the database

    might look at this, also
