i have a firewall on the web server that is making it difficult to auto-update. is there an ip address from which updates come consistently that i can open the firewall to? thanks.

Posted 1 year ago #updates are from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.0.4.zip you can whitelist wordpress.org I suppose. If solo address is not working you can add *wordpress.org and set the wildcard.
