   Hi folks.

   John here, WP newbie. I'd like to get the_excerpt working on my home page at http://www.thebmwF650.com.

   I'm using the Stallion theme. As best I can tell, i need to edit index.php, yes? Contents.php as well? I've fooled around with this, but I'm not making progress. below is the code for index.php. can you suggest where i should drop in the_excerpt()?

   Try locating 'the_content()' in the template (probably index.php) and replacing it with 'the_excerpt()'.

   If you don't have any luck with this, contact the theme supplier.
