I’m using the free service, CDN only. Not sure why it’s telling me I need a CA Cert.

@sgpark In this post it says the free version it’s not going to work well with SSL. You’d need to upgrade it.

No, I’m not talking about Cloudflare. I’m talking about the plugin, which for some time was suddenly forcing ssl when there was no need. Nothing on our website needed ssl or requested ssl. It was a glitch in the plugin.

An update to the plugin seems to have fixed the problem.

I’m still getting this problem intermittently. Could we at least get some acknowledgment or an explanation of what this is, exactly?

    Similar issue to:

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/curl-returned-an-ssl-related-error

Basically it means your server doesn’t have the up to date Certificate Authority bundles installed, so that when the plugin tries to talk to cloudflare.com it can’t correctly verify the cloudflare.com certificate. This stops the development mode toggle feature from working, but nothing else.
