getting rid of /wordpress in website name (7 posts)

    I am new to this and my website/blog is http://www.wemakeblueray.com/wordpress . How do I drop the /wordpress . My domain is on GoDaddy and I loaded Worpress in the Metropolis section.

    Move your files to the root of your web directory. I don't know about all this metropolis stuff. Or you could have a look at this.

    Sounds simple but, I tryed doing that. Files in wp-admin refused to move. Said permission denied!

    I wanted to change from .com/wordpress to .com and while in WordPress Admin did this

    WordPress (URL) http://neverspendadime.com/wordpress
    Blog (URL) http://neverspendadime.com

    Now, my site looks really weird. What did I do? How can I get everything back? When I FTP into my directory, everything is still there.
