    How can I get rid of comments? I do not want any comments on any page.

    Ensure that commenting is not allowed in Settings -> Discussion. Then uncheck "Allow comments" in the Discussion pane on each Edit page for every published Post & Page. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options at the very top of the page and check "Discussion".
