Getting Rid of Caption Code In Google Index (5 posts)

    I have a number of my articles indexed on Google, which is great. However, when I search for these articles, the text shown under them is the image caption code, which looks horribly ugly and doesn't let people searching Google know much about my post.

    So the question is, how can I make it so that part of my article is shown rather than the image caption code? The image caption code is the first part of my articles, which is why it's shown, so I assume. Visit my flash games blog to see how things look, thanks for any help.

    Whatever you are using to generate the meta descriptions is the problem:

    <meta name="description" content="[caption id='attachment_291' align='alignleft' width='240' caption='Key To Moving Forward'][/caption] I've been a rather active member in the flash community..." />
