Getting Post Content to Wrap or Disappear (4 posts)

    Greetings,
This question may have been answered before but I can't find it...
I'm using the Talian 1.0 three column theme; you can see my mods at http://www.californialibre.com . You can see that although the post width appears to be set in the stylesheet, they actually vary (because of some long URLs) and push the third column to the bottom. I've looked over the various "post-content" styles in the CSS and as a newbie, am not certain how to proceed. I've seen something about an "overflow" code; I would prefer to wrap the posts to a fixed width. I'd rather not have to edit each post; that was one of my hangups with Blogger. Do I have to do the modifications to every "post-content" style? Thanks in advance,

    What browser are you using?

I've noticed that sometimes IE6 likes to push things around with long links.

Just checked it with IE6 and it's moving it. I would try a Overflow: hidden; so that IE6 doesn't move that sidebar.

    Greetings...
You're right, because it looks fine in my browser (IE 7) but I first noticed a problem showing someone the site at work, where we use IE 6. Thanks.

The "overflow" solution works, but it's moot because it's also cutting off the titles now. I'm afraid for other reasons this is just too difficult and I'm going back to Blogger. Good luck.
