Ok , its awesomely irritating , I was working on my Blog all night long , this morning when i tried to login to my "admin" account , it gave me a white page with "54" written on the top left side.

I thought i am facing server error or downtime , but hey i was able to see my blog + i was able to see the login page then how come it can be a server error ?

Weirdly i am able to access wordpress through my "Author" account i.e. non admin ones.

I suspect this as a corruption in a db or a template , please point me out the file / db i need to change.

the path i am redirected to after admin login is /wp-admin/ but only can see the "54" .

When i am login using author accounts , i am able to access the author panel properly , and its under /wp-admin/ so , which is the file causing the error .

Please try to reply fast. I got some urgent mod to do with on of my plugins.

    [Solution]

It was a issue with my Webhost , The Site was probably under maintenance , anyways , the server went down for a half and hour and when it came back , i was able to view it again.

In Short : Kick your Webhost Support Team or View their maintenance log.

I had the same issue this morning. Thank you for posting the solutions. Some of my other symptoms were that the favicon was reset to an old one, and then some pages worked and some didn't...

    It was rather strange...
