   i want to have the number of posts in a certain category be a variable. is this possible? then i'd post it into a table/div layout so the vertical list of categories' post numbers all match up. If not, then how do I keep the numbers from breaking the flow as in here - http://bluewebpages.com/misc/links_break.jpg

   EDIT:
   i have my ol li a links setup to be an absolute length and display block i believe...so any text is automatically put to a new line. is there any way to hack the wp code to incorporate this within the link to the category?

   It has to be easy to do, right?
