I have a blog with Tumblr using my domain name (peculiarium.com). I have been working on an e-commerce site on WordPress, and now I want to point my domain to that new content. I see on my hosting account's DNS manager, (GoDaddy) it points to a tumblr ip address. Do I need to change that string in order for it to point to the right content? If so, what is the ip address for WordPress.org? I am able to see all my new pages through the previewdns.com extension, but I can't see the new home page, because it always takes me back to the Tumblr blog. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Posted 7 months ago #you need to point the domain at the ip address your WordPress site will be served from - you can ask your hosting company for this address if you are not sure. You will also need to ensure your siteURL & blogurl are set correctly http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
