   I tried to get help with this in the forum section for plugins, but didn't receive any answers. Hoping for better luck here.

   I'm trying to get the Lightbox 2-plugin to work with the built-in gallery in wordpress. Is there any way to edit the WordPress-files to have Lightbox activated automatically in every gallery published?

   According to the plugin page, I'm supposed to do the following:

   1. Unzip the lightbox-2-wordpress-plugin.zip file.
   2. Upload "lightbox-2-wordpress-plugin" folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
   3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress, go to Setting->Lightbox
   4. Add a rel="lightbox" attribute to any link tag to activate the lightbox or rel="lightbox[roadtrip]" for image set

   Found a solution in the form of another plugin: Shadowbox JS. Works like a charm and has WordPress gallery-support built in from the get-go.
