   I'm trying to use the new 2.7 plugin installer. But when I click on a plugin to install, it give me the following error:

   An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request

   Can someone at least just tell me if they get the same error?

   Anything in your webserver's error_log file for that time period?

   That error message is vague; it could mean the web server could not resolve a host, PHP is missing something it needs, etc. If you can see if PHP tossed an error in the log, then we can figure out what's going on.

   Looks by other threads that many people get this error. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the error_log. I get the start page, but no tags listed etc.
