   Just upgraded to 2.8.6 and started getting error messages on Post updates. These were not happening in 2.7.1

   Fatal error: Call to undefined function: _weak_escape() in /home/content/m/a/g/magothyriver/html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 487

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
