   Hi,

   I have been trying to get excerpts on my homepage with thumbnails working for ages (my website is http://yourlifeamp.com). I've tried using thumbnail for excerpts plugin but it ends up doubling up on the image.

   I'm currently using homepage excerpts plugin but it doesn't look good (weird spacing between excerpts and just unattractive looking in general).

   I've also looked up on wordpress.org how to manually get excerpts and thumbnails working but I'm still having trouble. I have added the code to activate thumbnails for my theme but the option doesn't show up in post edit?

   I have excerpts working in my "category" section and would like similar excerpts on the homepage but I don't know how to do it.

   Could someone point me in the right direction of a beginner's in depth tutorial?

   I just installed the Thumbnail for Excerpts plugin again: http://www.cnet.ro/wordpress/thumbnailforexcerpts/. It does exactly what I want but it is doubling up with images.

   I just discovered that if I don't use a manual excerpt, it doesn't double up on the thumbnail? I know there is a conflict between the plugin and my theme and I have a feeling it is something simple to fix.

   Can anyone help?
