I just upgraded my WP to 3.6 and when I click on Campaign for elegantPurl lite I get this error, “blockUI requires jQuery v1.2.3 or later! You are using v1.10.2”

It will let me add the Campaign, but will not let me add any members. I’m only having this issue with the elegantPurl Lite plugin.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. It is an issue we are aware of and we are working on a fix.

I found a great article explaining that with the latest version of jquery it shows as 1.10.2 which certain things see as only version 1.1 and ignore the rest, thus the error.

I had to find every instance of 1.10.2 and simply replace it with 1.9.1 which fixed it.

There are several files in wp-include, wp-admin, and some other areas. Just download your site and search inside the text of all files for instances of 1.10.2 and replace them with 1.9.1.

Shouldn’t have any problems as you’re just changing references, but of course, always have a backup and an easy way to restore.

The issue was with the jquery version check within the blockui.js script we were using with epurl lite. It was an older version, which we no longer are using, and it was causing a few conflicts with another plugin. So we have removed the script from our plugin. I am going to try and push up the update tonight.

Version 0.99 has been released with blockui.js removed. This should clean up the jquery version dialog you were receiving without having to make any other changes.
