Getting dozens of spam in my comments area not coming in through form (1 post)

    I am on 2.9 but it is not in the drop down.

    A bit frustrating that is, but worse is the spam coming in DIRECTLY without hitting the form for comments. Which I have captcha on so it is not 'open'...
