   Dear Members,

   I'm quite a technological novice so please bear with me if the answer to this question is very simple.

   I have just started my first blog and would like to brighten it up with images, specifically movie posters. However I don't want to infringe on anyone's copyright. I've found the ideal image on someone's tumblr, but no contact information for the owner of the site. I've also hit a brick wall on flickr, with no contact info or 'request license' button available beside the photo I'd like to use.

   My blog isn't commercial- it's just a collection of my reviews and thoughts on movies.

   What should I do?

   Would it be enough to post the images onto my blog as long as I added a caption attributing copyright, or directing readers to the site I found the image on?

   To be honest - no, I don't think that would be enough. Try sites like http://www.sxc.hu/ and http://morguefile.com/
