A search on Google Reader for my site resulted in zip. Not one post in the search result.
What do I need to do to have my post listed in Google's Reader. (Yes, I'm new at this and clueless.)

are you talking about google blog search? Google reader is a way to read blogs.. its specific to the user (they add their own content)
