    Hi,

I'm trying to get a different header on my homepage. So far, I've made a new header-home.php

On my homepage.php, which displays the homepage of my website, I changed the get_header() to get_header('home') but for some reason it doesnt get me the header-home.php

Does anyone know what I might have done wrong here?

    Thanks

is homepage.php a custom page template for the static front page?

This should work butI think you should rename homepage.php to home.php see http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy

Homepage.php was indeed the page template for the static front page so renaming it to home.php fixed the problem.

    Thanks a lot!
