Getresponse integration with landing page

Hi folks,
I’m setting up my wordpress site with a landing page to collect emails right on my .com. I just got a getresponse autoresponder account, the getresponse plugin, and the wordpress landing pages plugin. I feel like there are a lot of options for setting this up and I’m not sure yet what I need to get a simple landing page set up with getresponse.

Do I need the landing pages plugin or is the getresponse plugin enough to do what I need?

Any other tips or considerations for me?

How do I get the .com to have the landing page instead of a longer permalink?
