'get_the_author' results in no output

    Hey guys,

    So I’m getting some trouble with the WP function “get_the_author.” Am I doing something wrong?

    Here’s the offending line of code (in the loop):

    <span class="author-vcard"> <?php get_the_author(); ?></span>
