   Does anyone know of a simple way to get WP to display future-dated posts on a given future date? If you call the get_day_link function for a future date, a 404 error is returned, keeping me from using template functions to manually grab post_status='future' posts. Any ideas as to how I might be able to do this with as little core-code modification as possible?

   I know I could change the posting function to create future posts as "publish" rather than "future", but I'd rather not, for other reasons. Any ideas?

   try the Upcoming Posts plugin
   or for posts with event data see the Event Calendar plugin
