This may sound like a stupid question, but I want to create a post with thumbnails of images I have uploaded. When I insert the thumbs into the post, in the editor they are as I want them to appear (3 in a row). However when I go to preview the post, the thumbs are all in a list format going down the page one after another. I have tried different alignments and even not setting alignment, but still they appear in a list.
Does anybody know if Im doing something wrong or if there is a way to do it?
use [gallery columns="3"] shortcode in ur post.
Thanks for the reply wprock - Id checked out the gallery shortcode but it doesn't suit what I want to do. I basically wanted a couple of rows of thumbnails from my most popular posts (in order or popularity, with links to the posts - both which the shortcode doesn't allow as far as I know).
Isn't there an easier way or formatting trick to get inserted thumbs from the media library in WP to stay horizontally in a row, instead of a list? Im trying to avoid using tables for formatting if possible!?
