Get the upcoming post ID

    I’m working on a plugin and need to use add_post_meta(), however this function requires a post ID. The problem with that is that I don’t know what the ID is!

    I’m trying to ‘replicate’ the action of Custom Field, but in my area. How do you find the ID of the post you will be publishing while on the post new screen?
