I am trying to get an rss feed to display within a post as titles that are links to the full story, and have the posts go up once a day if there is new content within the feed.
I tried playing with Feedlist, but it doesn't do what I want. The other RSS stuff in the plugin repository seems mostly about embedding an aggregator in the side bar or a page, but I would like the RSS_generated list within a post to be sent out in my own site's RSS feed.
del.icio.us has this on their site as "Daily Blog Posting" under account settings and I'd like to do this same thing, but from from a different feed (stumbleupon blog).
Any idea how to do this?
You could try the runphp plugin which allows you to run code within a post or page. And then something like the feedlist plugin to pull in the links via rss.

Good suggestion. I wonder, though, how to automate the posting to once a day if new content exists?
Is there another plugin somewhere that handles post automation?
I don't know about other plugins. I assume that they generally update the feed whenever a new post appears. I don't actually know how these things work -- whether they "pull" information in or whether it's "pushed" in by the site supplying the feed.
PS. But feedpress *does* update automatically if that's what you were concerned about. It always shows you the last 10 (or whatever) posts in the feed. I wasn't sure if it you were set on something that updated only every 24 hours.
