Get rid of this plugin – WP.org facilitates Exploits Vunerablities

    Warning this plugin is known as a gateway for exploits.

    There needs to be an abuse option to flag down a bad script which can take the entire site down.

    Questions:

    • why does the plugin name differ from the plugin download name?
    • why this exploit script allowed to be in the plugin repository of WordPress.org even after there are comments about its behavior?

    Hi wireB,

    We do had a security issue but it has already been fixed. You can read more about it here.

    The folder and our name are different because we’ve changed our name some months ago because we believe that MailPoet is easier than Wysija, but we can’t modify the plugin slug otherwise we would lose all our historic.
