Get rid of the forum google search

What’s with the new WordPress google forum search? It’s ugly and distracting and I can’t find anything. Put it back to how you guys originally had it please.

Not possible. The old search (which was only a Yahoo search after all) broke suddenly and had to be replaced at very short notice. The current Google custom search may be replaced by something else at a later date.
